**Pack buyers Alert: import-export-co has changed their user ID to IEC-CO**

Thanks to a fellow board member it has been brought to my attention that ebay's largest vintage pack counterfeiter has changed their ebay user ID effective June 7th.

Their new ID is IEC-CO. The good news is that they have begun selling off vast amounts of high-grade vintage singles from all sports.

And it appears they are wanting to move them in a hurry as they are listing them in very large lots--lots such as (250) 1975 topps baseball commons in near mint condition.

Hopefully this indicates that they have given up on the practice of stuffing wrappers with high-grade commons. We'll have to wait and see.

Scammers rarely stop unless they're put in jail or given one more chance before they will be put in jail, and then maybe they learn their lesson...maybe.

Not really. They'll usually stop any time they can no longer make money off it. Only rarely is that because of jail

nah...when they can't make money on one scam, then they look for another...it's their nature...only imprisonment deters them, and that's one reason for prisons.

I agree...this scam may have stopped for them but most likely they'll find something else.

Looks like Boyer (tjs6121) is making some hay now with these guys out of the picture for now...pathetic, really...

They are probably just cards not good enough for packs from their lot purchases.
  • I ran across that id before. The "co" in the name was enough to keep me away.

on a similar note- ebay seller snappledrinker sold me 2 made '77 football wax trays. Wrong UPC, price point, tray felt loose and both trays showed signs of heat reseal on the end with the ripped cellophane corners. Paypal refund issued on 1 and pending on the other.
