2 Coins from Heritage...

I know Heritage - during their internet sales - sells returned coins, and no-sells in their internet only auctions and BIN sales. I knew this.

Today I received 2-coins from their auction that closed this past week (Saturday I believe). These were two of the ugliest toned coins
I have ever purchased from a major dealer. I picked them up at the post office, and they were so ugly-toned I sent them back Express
mail without even leaving the post office. image

Why HA would even consider selling these 2 coins is beyond me. Nobody would like these coins. I had my iphone camera (max 4x
picture) but I didn't take any snapshots. The HA pictures didn't show the toning and the description was lacking.

HA also has quite a few coins on sale without pictures! If people bid on these coins - without pictures - they should not assume that the quality is
there simply because HA is selling them.

What a bad experience. image I regret not putting in for the 1917 MS67 - if memory serves - quarter on Bowers Wednesday night now.....image

So who's to blame, HA or you?

And people keep saying Heritage has good pictures. Unreal.

If the professional dealers and experienced collectors

do not want a coin from the general auction, then you probably

should not want the coin either. While there are exceptions to

every rule, why look for trouble.
