very nice world coins for sell

I have 11 extremely nice world coins that I must sell, though it breaks my heart to do it. The economy has taken its toll on my finances and I need to raise some cash. The collection includes British and Italian coins and 1 German coin of which only 12-15 examples are known to exist. Copy and paste the link below onto your web browser to see the coins:

http://coins.www.collectors-society.com/registry/coins/ViewPersonalCollection.aspx?UserCollectionID=1793&Tab=list

If this does not work, and it may not for password reasons, please email me at Sambeauxrme@yahoo.com or call me at 662-834-1819 and I will get the pictures to you.

All the coins are graded and all but one are in very high and difficult to find grades. All are beautifully toned.

I really hate to part with them, but classic commems are my main focus and I simply cannot bring myself to sell them yet.

Thanks for taking the time to read my posting.

Sam

  • Thanks for the tip. I'm new to the forum and didn't realize there was a BST forum. This is NOT spam. I will repost in the proper forum.

Why are you not selling these on the NGC forums? -dan

You can use our own weekly BST thread since they're Darkside coins, otherwise they'll quickly disappear in the BST forum. But it would be best if you could post the coins' images, grades and prices for everyone to see them. If you need help in posting their images in our thread, don't be afraid to ask. I saw the coins, they're definetely nice, especially the 1893 Brit halfcrown.

I started the new BST thread. Post your info there.

I took a look at your British pieces, they are excellent.

  • I'm not new to collecting, but I am new to these forums. Honestly, I have never looked at the NGC forum. All of my coins have come directly from great dealer friends and a few from auctions such as Heritage, Goldberg, and Bowers and Merena. I will check out the NGC forum and do what I must to post there, but it will probably be a day or two before I have the time. Thanks for the tip.
  • I tried to attach pictures, but they are all too big. It says the limit is 50K and all my pictures are 90-120K. There may be a way to do it, but I don't know what it is. I'm certainly open to suggestions.

Try posting your images to Photobucket

www.photobucket.com it is free and you can link from there to the forums here. When you're hosting off site the size restriction is removed.

What are you talking about?!!! Your initial link was to the ngc registry. Are you telling me you did not know that ngc had a forum, but yet you are a member of this forum?
  • I am telling you that I have used the registry but have never.....NEVER used or even noticed the forum. If you find that hard to believe, I am sorry. That does not make it untrue. I mentioned to a collector friend of mine that I was going to have to sell my world coins, and asked him if he knew an avenue for selling other than EBay, which I am totally disgusted with. He suggested this forum, so I registered and posted here. He said nothing of an NGC forum...I'm sure if I had thought about it, the probability of the existence of an NGC forum would have occurred to me, but I just hadn't given it any thought. What I can't understand is why it upsets you so?

Allright, here are your pictures, I uploaded them myself from your NGC link. Now, all you have to do is click quote to my post , then copy and paste the content (minus this paragraph) to this week's BST thread. Don't forget to add your asking prices.

  • WOW!! You are so awesome!! Of course, it's entirely possible that I'm just an absolute idiot. I tend to believe it's a combination of the two. I am going to try to follow your instructions, and hopefully, something good will happen. The pictures look great! Many thanks.
