Has anyone found any 2009 DDR's in bank rolls?
I finally got my hands on some bank roll's of the Philadelphia Mint Lincoln Formative years penny. So far I have not found very much except for several dollars worth of pennies covered in milk spots!! Has anyone discovered any of the DDR varieties in Bank rolls? Or have they all come from the U.S Mint P&D roll sets? Thanks.
Mike

........now i understand.
My grandparents used to live in Philly, and the water back then tasted horrible!! Add to whatever's in there all the chemicals to kill them and mask the taste/odor, and it's a wonder the coins aren't either completely corroded or disintegrated!!
<< <i>I have a theory about the milk spots....... if the Philly Mint washes the coin planchets in Philly water, there's your culprit!!

For your theory to "hold water" it would have to apply to the water in Denver, every single one I have looked at is milky/spotty. They are aweful under 5x, forget taking a picture they stick out and just look horrible.
Maybe Denver imports their water from Philly..................
