David Hall on Fox Biz Network

Subject to possible schedule changes because of late-breaking news, David Hall will be on the Fox Business Network on Friday afternoon, May 29. The brief segment probably will be broadcast some time between noon and 1 p.m. Pacific/3 and 4 p.m. Eastern. I don't know if the programming is available with streaming video online on the Fox Biz web site.

PCGS founder David Hall with Fox Business Network reporter Louise Pennell
David Hall on FOX Business Network
- June 2, 2009
Collectors Universe, Inc. President and Professional Coin Grading Service co-founder, David Hall, was a featured guest on the FOX Business Network on Friday, May 29, 2009. He was interviewed about gold in a live broadcast from the Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Collectibles Expo.
Hall held a PCGS-certified "common date" Saint-Gaudens double eagle for some show-and-tell during the brief segment with FOX Business reporter Louise Pennell. He noted that the coin's price has gone from around $400 five years ago to a current value of $1,250. He said when people inquire now about buying gold coins, he asks them, "Where have you been? Where were you when it was $250, $350 or $400 (an ounce)?"
"A lot of people are thinking about gold (now) because of the deterioration of the dollar," Hall explained on camera.
In an earlier live interview segment from the Long Beach Expo that day, Scott A. Travers, author of "The Coin Collector's Survival Manual," also used a PCGS-certified Saint-Gaudens double eagle to emphasize his comment that "Gold is the place to be. In this financial crisis we've seen gold hold its own and perform incredibly well."

It's a shame you couldn't find a picture with Mr Hall in it.
This should be good publicity for coins and the company.
No Hawaiian shirt? Are you sure that's the real HRH?

Question: Why are Hawaiian shirts so dang expensive?
I thought Mr. Hall looked cool in that silky black shirt with the rolled up sleeves.
