I'm going to break my own rule and post (2) original threads, since I won't be doing much in the next two weeks. Obviously BCCG is an absolute garbage grading service--my question is: Do you think putting "BCCG BGS" is deceptive when selling a crap BCCG card?
And also, while I'm at it, do you think putting PSA 8 in the title, and later disclosing it has a qualifer, is bunK? I DO.

As long as the auction title says "BCCG BGS" I don't mind. It is a BCCG card, I never even look at the auction. So not really deceptive, BCCG is a Beckett grader (Even if they don't know what they are grading (NM or better? is it NM or GEm MINT, The grading company doesn't know. I'm not interested.)
PSA 8 should have any qualifer in the auction title. It is part of the grade.
Most sellers who don't put the PSA qualifier in the title know they're being deceptive in order to get more people to look at their listing. They'll defend the practice saying the buyer should have read the fine print in the description or noticed the qualifier in the picture. Most buyers will not like the seller for wasting their time. They clicked on something they wanted to buy then almost got tricked into bidding.
at whatever else the seller may be offering.
