Yes, in hopes that one of the two will have less "die polish" wire brush marks than the other.

How common are these at coin shows?

One dealer at the Santa Clara show had over 20, slabbed. They dealt primarily in bullion.

But the premiums asked for these at shows are such that I am not a buyer.

If you use it as a pocket piece, you will destroy any value over melt.

Not to mention is that when and if Gold spot will ever go over the price you paid then you may be ok keepingit a pocket piece. Just to have it and do show and tells for YN's you meet is a great piece to exite their young minds. I like the idea.

By keeping it as a pocket piece you're also lowering the spot value, albeit very very slowly.

Once I find a UHR at my right price, I will start a "UHR Pocket-Piece Thread" in honor of those with deep and abrasive pockets so as to

slowly whittle down the Gold Value, but not totally the beauty (albeit a variation), on a classic coin!

Now that's exactly why I paid out $35.00 to ship mine back. And no I don't want another one, sales figures are getting too big for such a little chunk of modern bullion. image

That box sure was nice though. Might just have to buy an empty one off the 'bay.
