Here they are, please keep in mind I need to send them out to get deent photo's, and I'll probably send them all in for reholdering in the new scratch resistant slab. A couple of these slabs are pretty marked up and since I am probably keeping the set forever the extra cost of reslabbing doesn't matter.

Lovely set, really comething to be proud of. How long has it taken you to put this together?

Three years, but most of that time was looking for the 1775, the others can be found fairly often, and the 1806 and 7 are very common. With the exception of the 1775 I'd say you could easily find the other 1770's pieces in a year, the Goldberg sale alone last week had 4 of the 6 dates.

That's a very nice set and a fine accomplishment! I especially like the 1770's run. Some of those pieces are wonderfully struck. The 1772 is my favorite among them.

Its always exciting to see the result of someone that specializes and, altho I know little about GB coinage, this seems to be an exceptionally nice group of coins. I also like the 1770s coins. Thanks for sharing!

This set illustrates exactly why there exists the tokens that I collect - late 18th century provincial tokens.

The royal mint last minted regal half pennies in 1775 and the UK was in the midst of the Industrial Revolution!

The rest of the non-gold denominations were minted just about as infrequently, thus leaving the general populace with insufficient small value coins. Needless to say, counterfeiting was also rampant.

What farthing said, the 1770's coinage came off the street almost as soon as it was minted and replaced by slightly underwieght forgeries, there are a lot of them out there.

Oh my, how nice.

Really love that 1775. (Except for the silly prongs in the slab).

Now you need some George III 1/2d with harps on the reverse.
