<< <i>Allen--You still chompin' at the bit about the "practice" zinger image

I love Allen Iverson as a pure 1-1 player, especially that move on Jordan, but he absolutely killed the Pistons this year. Probably one of the worse trades in history seeing what Billups has done and how terrible/selfish Iverson turned out to be in D-Town. >>

Yeah, the one where you make the practice reference to Larry Allen.

<< <i>To Larry Allen: "Practice, we talking 'bout practice?" >>

Not only did you have the wrong sport, you had a guy who would make at least two and maybe three Allen Iversons. So I guess I am not chompin at the bit over your brilliant zinger.

Okay, obviously your avatar threw me off image Umm, who is Larry Allen again? Was he that big fat d-lineman that couldn't pick up the ball in the snow and kicked it out of bounds?
  • AllenAllen Posts: 7,165 ✭✭✭
You do understand that you are the one who referenced the practice quote to Larry Allen, right? Allen Iverson is the one who said it. Larry Allen is the 11 time Pro Bowler and future Hall of Famer.
  • MintacularMintacular Posts: 1,138 ✭✭✭
Umm, yeah. You do not your avatar is Allen Iverson and you go by Allen, right?

No, that was Leon Lett and he kicked the ball into the end zone, not out of bounds. Larry Allen was one of the best offensive lineman to ever play the game. Do you even watch sports?

I try not to watch the Cowgirls when it can be avoided--proud supporter of the NFL's greatest franchise--the Pittsburgh Steelers of course.

Wasn't there a guy who owned part of Microsoft named Larry Allen? I think that is why my brain is all mashed up with this name.

Yes, I do remember Larry Allen of the Cowboys but to me big fat o-lineman/d-lineman are hard to distinguish from each other.
