1886 $1 dollar silver certificate

On a visit with my aunt and uncle today my uncle said he had some coins that belonged to my great aunt who passed away last summer. He showed me a piece of paper with writing and values on it from March of 1984. While looking at it I thought the writing was familar and the info was too detailed to be from a non-collector. As it turns out the writing was mine! Apparantly I must have looked at them back in 1984. While there was nothing special in the group, there is a $1 silver certificate dated 1886 from what I had written down in 1984. I couldn't see a date today as I didn't have my glasses. My uncle sent me pictures a little while ago but they were blury.
I looked online but all I could find were ones with a small red seal on the obverse but this note has a large red seal about 1/4 size the size of the whole note offcentered to the right. It is not in real great shape. It has a small tear (1/8 of an inch in the top center) and has been folded in quarters.
I am not a paper money collector so any info on the different seals and approxiamate value would be greatly appreciated. If anyone can find and post a clear picture that would be great too. Thanks, Wayne
