Are the numeral sizes on all dates of draped bust half cents so non-uniform?

I was photographing the coins in my Dansco type-set and noticed that the last two digits on my 1806 Draped Bust half cent are considerably larger than the first two. Is this a characteristic of all the Draped Bust half cents?

This is the "large 6" variety.
In general, do not think HC's have any screwier dates than other series. In fact, could be better.

It is the time frame, not the series. They just didn't care much about uniformity back then (or had a hard time controlling it because of inferior striking methods and materials.)

It was often the case in 19th century mints (not just the U.S.) that dies would be prepared in advance
except for the final digits. In other words it is the fall of 1805 and an obverse die is prepared. It is
uncertain if it will be used in 1805 or 1806 so it is left undated. It appears here that only the first two
digits were on the die, with the 06 added in 1806 and the die used.

The above explanation may not fit this exact coin and is a general observation only.
