    Congrats Bob,

You landed the big one! Waiting for some of your pictures that I am sure will be nice.

Looks like all you need now is a stunning 1916 to finish off the other end of your set. hmmmmimage

Saw it too. Congrats! I had my eye on that coin for my second set, but I'm glad you got it. Sounds like you're in like Flynn.

I collect 20-slab, blue plastic PCGS coin boxes. To me, every empty box is like a beating heartimage NOT.

People come up sometimes, and ask me, G99G, are you kidding? And I answer them no, I am NOT KIDDING.

    Every empty box?

Curly was the middle man or the idea man with a plan. I'm no longer in the Proof Buffalo business, but the money spent on them was VDB money in the first place. It just finally landed where it was suppose to. Thanks for all the congrats, I never thought I would see the day. Thank you Jack for your suggestion, we are nerds aren't we? Rich, it wasn't really sneaky, just all of a sudden. I'm as shocked as you.

Here are a couple of images. I've got more, but they are still in the camera. I was pleasantly surprised with the luster on both sides. The reverse also has some nice red toning all around, but especially around the wheat ears.

A very big congratulations to you robec. I'm glad to see it went to someone with so much passion for the matte proof series. It looks like a very nice coin from the images.

Seeing what it was listed for on the weekly MPL thread, this makes me rethink what the 64RB will go for in the upcoming Long Beach auctionimage

BTW those look like some extra die polish lines on the bottom reverse, dont they? Are they in the diagnostics?

Those lines are on mine as well, but seemingly not as prominently.

Andy wants to remind Paul NOT to include the coin in next weeks listing. He said it will not be off his inventory list for awhile. Steveimage
