Gotta be some kind of scam the seller is setting up, i.e. establish an incredibly high sale price via shill bids, insure it, then lose it, have it stolen, or whatever, then collect on the insurance.

Even though it is NGC, seems like a lot of folks that have posted so far don't understand the registry game

(and, no, I wouldn't pay more than $30 or so for it myself, and that was IF I wanted it)

This is not a shocking price for those who follow this series....the proof 70 Delaware is far and away the holy grail. Pennsylvania, New

Jersey go for about $600 in this grade, with the Connecticut and Georgia following at around $400. Too rich for my blood, but I have had

the good fortune to get two NGC Connecticut pf70's that I flipped on Ebay for a nice profit. I sold them simply because I would never be

able to complete a 1999 proof 70 set, so why frustrate myself holding on to just one. Used the money to purchase a couple bust halves

that I love.

Why would you compare this NGC coin to the PCGS price guide? The PCGS price guide is
for PCGS graded coins. Do not confuse the two.

Nevada quarters in NGC PF70 routinely sell for about $30. In PCGS PF70 they have sold at
two and a half times the NGC price.

Currently PCGS PF70 Nevada quarters are asking above $300. IT is just that there are very
few PCGS PF70 coins as compared to NGC PF70.

Can't use the PCGS price guide for other TPG's.
