"guess my grades" contest

I submitted 18 cards under the pre-1956 vintage special
What will be my total grade points from those cards (e.g., a card that's a 7.5 is 7.5 points, an 8 (OC) is 6 points, and an card not slabbed is 0 points, and if those were the only 3 cards, my total would be 13.5 points)?
I didn't request anything to be slabbed Authentic, but if something gets that designation on a slab, it counts as 1 point.
One guess per person. Guesses may be edited at any time before I post that the contest is closed.
1st tiebreaker is to guess the date PSA emails me that my grades are available. The cards were brought in on May 8.
2nd tiebreaker is to guess how many of the cards are '54 Topps baseball.
The prize will be a couple of PSA 7 commons from the '70s.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

Meanwhile, I had 5 mechanical errors that I brought in the same day, and PSA emailed me about them yesterday. 4 of them were corrected, but the fifth is still mislabeled as a W512 (it's a W513 - if you're familiar with strip cards, the text at the bottom is not similar between the two sets). Vent over.

He guessed 72. My score was 73.
Grades popped today (6/30). None of the cards were 1954 Topps - I figured it was a reasonable trick question for a tiebreaker.

My notes and comments
#1 and #2 - WOOHOO. I had thought that the edge chipping would downgrade them to the 3 range.
#3 - I basically agreed with the grade. I expected a 1, although it had some chance of a 1.5.
#4 - I expected a 2. The extra half point is nice.
#5 - I expected a 5. This was the first of several that they hit hard for wrinkles but have nice eye appeal.
#6 - I expected a 5 or 5.5. Same thing here as with #5.
#7 - I expected a 3 (or a 5(OC)). Centering is ugly, but the card's not bad otherwise (though it has a wrinkle).
#8 and #9 - I expected 5s on both. Same thing here as with #5 and #6.
#10 - YAY. I expected a 2. This is an ugly card for the grade due to large black print marks.
#11 - I expected a 5. I think I'm tougher on corners than PSA's graders are.
#12 - I expected this grade.
#13 - I expected a 5 or a 7(OC). It's a nice card, but I didn't think it has 8 quality corners.
#14 - I expected a 3. I don't remember the details of this card at the moment.
#15 - I expected a 5. I don't remember the details of this card at the moment.
#16 - I expected a 5. I think this one had a wrinkle but good eye appeal.
#17 - It should have been a 1(MK). It doesn't matter for Registry purposes, but there are definite pencil marks on the front and back. It's a beater to end all beaters, but I got it for a dime as a kid and decided to get it slabbed.
#18 - I expected a 5, with some chance of a 5.5. I think this was another of the group that was hard hit for wrinkles.
Normally (though I had previously submitted fewer than 20 cards) I've been quite accurate in my submission expectations. I was too high on 7 of the cards (by 0.5 to 1 grade), too low on 7 others (by 1 to 2 grades), right on on 3 (getting a 2.5 rather than a 2 isn't a bad prediction) and PSA missed a qualifier that doesn't affect the registry grade on the last one.
As for why I submitted these cards, I had a voucher that covered the cost and was due to expire, and a limited window of time in which to find submittable cards and bring them in under the May special - and I couldn't find the box I was looking for (I found it since then).
Thanks to everyone who participated.
Nick
