Are you saying that Stalin did NOT pay off a losing bet? I guess it happened before I started responding on these boards. What happened? What was the bet? Having been a compulsive gambler (unfortunately) back in the day, that's one thing that I really consider a low life thing to do. I know we all talk smack in here when it comes to our teams (and to me it's nothing personal .... it's all in fun), but to not pay off a bet is really a $hitty thing to do. If you have the balls to make the bet you better have the means to pay it off if you lose. LOW LIFE LOSER = person not paying off a bet. JMO!

Stalin not only welched on that, he welched on a football sigline bet with me, when Penn State beat his team, he refused to place the Penn State logo in his sigline....just amazing but then Stalin is an "amazing" guy. LOL

Yes Kevin ( Stalin ) refused to pay me $50 after my Patriots finished with a better record than his SUCs- like 4 years ago, he WOULD NOT RESPOND TO ME CALLING HIM OUT PUBLICLY!

The kid is a complete welcher- please understand that it has nothing to do with the money either it has EVERYTHING to do with him being a loud mouth and crap talker that disapears whenever his rhetoric is exposed. BOTTOM LINE, he is a welcher.

Doug, the issue with Kevin Reid (aka Joestalin) not honoring bets is that he did not want anyone to know about his secret identity. He wanted everyone to think he was this tough sports guy and it turns out he is a Horn Player for the Jax symph. I swear it, you can't make this stuff up. To make matters worse he looks like Mario from super Mario fame. Just so some searches back on dec 31st of last year and you will see him.

Commie boy has always stayed away from having any bets that require someone to know who he is but as as far as credibility goes, how can anyone question that, let's see:

There was the Thesis from the University of Ohio
The death of Joe Stalin thread where he stated that if anyone could guess the alt alias meaning he would quit posting, people did - he did not quit
The famous Home Depot paint can expirement
The "why does psa charge for .... when Beckett is free"
The "Stalin was a hero in Russia"
The Perk Welch
The day he said he was in the hospital with his dad when he did not post for two weeks after the Bucs and Noles lost on the same weekend, he offered proof but never delivered

I wasn't online when the bet was made so I don't know the details about that. However anytime you make a bet you need to be man enough to pay off if you lose. Even if Perk said forget it you need to have the stones to man up and pay up. I suspect that if Perk did say to forget it just because he's sick of dealing with a welcher.

Why don't we all tell the real story? The "bet" was made in 2004, I don't even remember making it, but someone besides Perk dug up the post in
2007 and suddenly I owed the man 50 bucks, sorry, if you can't ask for your money in a timely manner then don't make bets, plus Perk
said forget it, so its done.

What really matters is that the Phillies are about to pass the Mets tonight and there are a lot of "fans" here who would rather talk about
Mario, horn playing, or bet making rather than facing the fact that my team is going to win yet another ring!
