Can someone guide me to the person to get credit for my discovery of this error.. thanks I emailed Mr. Potter but no response yet.

Error is somekind of cud or die break on the C in the word cents on the reverse..
Sorry for the one pic.. Pcgs has that size limit and I went over on the others.

Yaha if I were you I would get it on the bay as quickly as possible to get the moon money for it. The log cabin die cracked ones started out great but are now a dime a dozen. If you only have the one then I would hold onto it, but I doubt your is the only one out there and it may go down in price due to so many of them going to flood the market soon.

Hah, I was joking, he said they were a dime a dozen! A dozen pennies are worth 12 cents face value, if you were only getting 10 cents for a dozen of them you're getting ripped off...

I checked them out with bare eyes, they are visible.
16x loup, looks rather obvious.
At 200X, its an exact match to Yahas pic and given that we have found at this point, what, a dozen, would this be called a variety?
I would say yes, but other more experienced folks please chime in and let me know.

Considering that it is a die chip, I would have said that it was a die state, rather than a die variety. There could be coins struck from the same die before the chip was formed.

I think at first it was thought that both were from the same die in a progressively worse state.
I found both errors and viewed under 10-30x magnification and they display different die markers.
The filled or unsplit log type (also has the book error) has a die crack from the C in AMERICA travelling N-NE to the RIM. Yaha's type does not show this die crack.
