Authentic T206? *Update* Comparison Pic added.

I've been wrong before but the characteristics of this T206 awfully resembles a CSA graded T206 I bought a few months ago thinking it may be real, I was wrong.
Would love to hear opinions and discuss:
T206 Ty Cobb ebay
**Update** Here are scans of the T206 Piedmont Bill Hallman I purchased months back, originally CSA Slabbed NM-MT 8.
I had an experienced local card shop owner look it over and he questioned the registration and the 3D effect around Bill Hallman's image, the card stock and print dots look spot on compared to my other T206 cards.
Would love to hear your opinions before I submit this to PSA.

I've got to agree with you as I was thinking the same thing when I first saw the pictures, this card looks artificially "aged".
I have a T206 card which came from a CSA slab with a NM-MT grade of "8", has similar registration characteristics as this sellers Cobb, the red background doesn't fit within the frame and has that shading (3D) effect around the image.
I'll be posting a picture of my CSA "8" this evening, stay tuned.

T222's PSA 1 or better
<< <i>The Hallman is real. The question is whether or not it is altered, for which I would suggest that there is a high likelihood. >>
The size of the Hallman measures evenly with a SGC 5 T206 i've since cracked and measured side by side.
The slight slanting or diamond cut is consistent with T206 issues, my only concern was that the card looks so flawless that it was fake (The registration didn't give me confidence either, But I had not seen other T206 with similar 3D like images).
I am crossing my fingers on this one as it could be the highest graded Hallman T206 in existence.
Any other hints I should pick up on to determine if this Hallman is altered? It still has a consistent finish or dull gloss so I don't think it's been surface altered.

The Hallman is also real. But I have reservations about that card grading also. But if it grades, It sure will look pretty in a PSA 8.5 holder.

I certainly wish you luck. That said, size does not necessarily matters with T-206s. The "average" size of a T-206 has declined steadily over the past 25 years. T206s had a number of size variations when first issued [and still occasionally seen]. But once Copeland started paying top dollar for MINT T-206s in the 1980s, many of those formerly oversized cards were trimmed down to "regulation size", and thus may measure correctly but still be altered.
All of your scans are kind of crooked, but most concerning to me is the bottom edge of your card, as it does not look true. [e.g. the corners seem to show a bit of a flair]. Either way, good luck and keep us informed.
Very easy to see. The caption is the easiest way to tell, plus you can tell with the great scans its lithographed (some colors out of registration) and not made with the 4 color process printing all modern cards are printed.
The Cobb has the tougher Tolstoi back too, nice card.
