Or how good eBay can be. There are deals to be had, just takes time to find them. It's not all bad, and a lot has been cleaned up over the past several
years.

The reason ebay gets blamed is because for a while when ebay first started up the feedback system was keeping the crooks out and it was safer than real life. Then they figured out how to move in and now it is just like anywhere else you do business. People still expect it to be a "ripoff free zone". It is still probably better than a random B&M if you take 1000 random transactions. Like anywhere else, you have to take care of yourself. --Jerry
