Was just busting a box, this was THE pull in 1990!!!

Took me a box and a half, but I just felt like I was 15 again for a few minutes.

P.S.- The NNOF Thomas is a close 2nd!

Did anyone even know about the NNOF in 1990? I quit the hobby in 1991/92 and dont remember it. I recall later in life flipping thru a Beckett to check prices and was shocked to say the least when I saw the NNOF's price.
<< <i>That was the card to have. I think at one point they were $10?

You are absolutely right. As best as I can remember, we werent chasing 1990 topps Thomas cards, except for the fact it was Thomas!!! I wonder when the NNOF was actually heavily sought after?
Someday I'll pick up another B/W Bo and these again....
I also really love that 1990 Upper Deck Maas RC. I save every one of them when I open those boxes. Same with the Ben McDonalds, Steve Averys and Dave Justices and 1991 Van Poppels and Plantiers.
1990 is one of the best card years for many reasons: errors, fad-cards, set design etc. It's almost impossible for me to turn down 1990 Topps, 1990 Upper Deck and 1990 Pro Set wax at card shops. I probably average almost 1 of those boxes a week. It's kind of sick.
Collecting Robin Ventura and Matt Luke.
