  Search on "1872 replica" in the Seated Dollar category, and I bet you will find other people selling the same exact fake from the same casting operation.

  If it's on Ebay, and it's a trade dollar or seated dollar and it's raw, there is a 97.39% chance that it's fake.

  Seated dollar + Ebay = Fake, 99% of the time... I just hit sort by price and anything under $350 i don't even bother looking at. Even those above this level get a serious look before any consideration is given. I think i've found one i've liked on ebay in the last 4 years.

  Want to buy an auction catalog for the William Hesslein Sale (December 2, 1926). Thanks to all those who have helped us obtain the others!!!
