Valley coin offers good airtite prices and numerous display methods:

    Airtite album

    Display cards

    Framed wall holder

I have tried both styles and both have pros and cons.

The airtites will likely protect your coins better than the eagle 2x2's because they have a better seal. But the issue is how to display and/or store them. I tried the display cards and didn't like them at all. The air tite capsule is press fit into the display card and there are boxes to house the display cards which will hold them apart from each other. For heavier coins, the capsules have a tendency to fall out (as was the case with the Swiss Thalers I was storing). For light coins, this method may work OK. In the end, I scrapped all the display cards and boxes and kept the air tites alone (I now store the capsules in large flips to protect the capsules.

The Eagles work OK as well but won't protect the coin as well as the air tites. I found the Eagle holders a pain to assemble - you have to fit the pieces of mylar onto each half of the holder. This sounds easy, but the die cut holes are not always in the right place. Plus, there are multiple thicknesses of mylar to use depending on the size of the coin. Once you get the holder assembled, the coin is easy to place and snap the holder together. But there is not the air tight seal like on the air tites. These holders will store nicely in any system designed for 2x2's.

In summary, the air tites are nice for better protection of your coins, but storage/display methods are not that great. For Eagles, the holders are a pain to assemble, but they fit in standard 2x2 storage/display units and may not protect the coins as well as the air tites.

Maybe someone else has some experience with other display methods for the air tites.

I spent several hundred dollars on the air-tite albums, pages, boxes and cards. I would not recommend them. The albums falls apart and the capsules don't fit in the pages well and were always falling out.

    I was very disappointed.
