What I think bugs some people about Laura is that she is highly opinionated but not at all stubborn. She might change her position on something if you can state your contrary case convincingly. There's nothing more fun than bashing the heck out of a ruthlessly stubborn person. However, it can be extremely frustrating if the person you are debating isn't really stubborn but more informed and very smart. I am not going to debate my doctor on general issues in medicine, though I might (and often do) ask sharp questions to gain more personal insight. This would be especially true of one of the most knowledgeable and respected doctors of course. So it makes no sense at all to not consider and respect the points on the coin business made by one of the most successful dealers in that business. (Also consider that her climb could not have been easy. There was a strong good old boy network and the hobby wasn't particularly friendly to women.) Believe me, Laura is sharp and if she saw serious potential in PCGS PR70CAMs, she'd be on them like Kim Kardashian on an NBA tour bus.

Don,
Congrats on a great show....I want to attend the next one.
I hope I'm not speaking out of turn here, but..........
Is it time to reinstate Laura to the forum now???
I became a member after the "incident"....so I don't know much about the bruhaha.
If she wants back, why not????
A great numismatic brain is a terrible thing to waste.
Regards,
Mike

I am in 100% agreement with this sentiment

that believes in telling what she thinks, blunt,
to the point and without any flim flam. Whether
you agree with her or not, she tells it as she sees it.
Not a bad point of view for this Forum. For some
reason, she does seem to create firestorms , what ever
she writes and when ever she writes. However this aside,
her comments are an important indecator of several important
sectors of the coin market. She has the Bears Growl of approval.

Has a date been set for next years? [ Assuming it will also be in Vegas.]
