Do PCGS dealers get a discount on grading fees?

  A local dealer told me "yes"

  I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

  Yes, there are dealer rates. Remember we join the "Collectors Club". To become a PCGS authorized dealer requires:
  
  * Applicant must have been a full-time coin dealer for at least three years.
  * Applicant and key employees must not have been convicted of a felony in the past five years.
  * Applicant must have capitalization of $100,000 or more including inventory.
  * Minimum of three credit references.
  * Minimum of three PCGS Authorized Dealer references.

  For PCGS Authorized dealers:
  
  They pay $40 each for Express service instead of $50
  They pay $25 each for Regular service instead of $30
  They pay $16 each for Economy service instead of $18
  They pay $12 each for Modern service instead of $14
  They pay $40 each for Mint Error service instead of $50
  They pay $40 each for Special Issues service instead of $50

  BTW- do they get a discount for the $24 variety attribution?

  Yes indeed, $25 for Regular grading service (post now edited)
  But no break on the $24 variety attribution cost.
  And they also have to pay the $8/order handling fee.

  Sounds like it's just enough to justify the time packing stuff up and sending it out for customers.

  I think that most dealers stand to make there profits on the bulk submissions. Yes they do the others but most of them have there own area of special interest and work at what they do best.
