what do you think this 1936-D 3 1/3 legger will bring?

I am in no way connected to this coin or the seller. I have a PCGS F-12 and was excited to see this coin. Very rarely do these come into an auction. The last one I remember was several years ago. It will be interesting to see what the market will fetch for this mid grade rarity.

1936-D 3 1/2 leg

So what do you think the auction will end at?

And while we're at it, would anyone care about this variety if it had been named "Weak Leg" instead of "3 1/2 Leg"?

To me it looks like you can see the whole leg. What's missing?

There is more leg missing than one would expect, I collect all of the Buffalo varieties so to me, the 17-D, 26-D and 27-D 3 1/2 legs are all interesting abraded dies.

In addition to these and the 1936-D, there are also 1913 Type 1 and 1916-D 3 1/2 leg Buffaloes.

Isn't this coin basically a 3 legged with more of the leg showing?

$1,200-$1,500. I collect the leggers too, but have never found this one.

Lots of people like to pay dearly for coin minutiae, and descriptive words that give impressions of what the seller wants you to believe.

    Nothing special - maybe $1.00 ...?

In Fine grade it is not a special coin IMO. Only in AU50 and up does it out price a 3 legged.

    1800.00 wow.

That is the type of coin I'd like to sell.

Actually after looking at the Price guide it is at EX Fine where this coin seperates itself and in Fine grade
it is a 1500.00 dollar coin. Still, IMO it is a coin I'd like to be the seller of.

    Congrats to the buyer.
