  I like it.
  I've been a fan of toning for long enough to appreciate even ugly toning.
  Not that I think yours is ugly... but I have a couple that are ugly by a lot of people standards.

  Alright, total newb question here. Why is it I always see images of coins posted here with the obverse totally toned and the reverse blast white?

  Because the opposite side was either facing in towards a roll, an album or in a bag one side was against the bag the other had coins touching it not allowing air flow/out gassing of sulfur causing the toning on the other side.

  I find really dark toning to be unattractive. Also, I would be concerned about what that heavy toning is hiding on the coins surfaces such as hairlines.
