And the poker playing affiliate commission members on here weren't watching Rosen's body language throughout the proceedings? To me that was an interesting part of it, to see his reaction as he viewed the cards, sorta like the "tells" from a poker player when viewing their dealt cards. The only baseball card if I'm remembering right that there was a good "read" on was the 56 Mantle, and that looked like a dam nice card to me - corners weren't rounded that's for sure.
Based on the information presented, Rosen made a killing off this - If those 62 and 63 Topps baseball sets are as nice as I think they might be, Rosen might make his money back or a decent portion of that just on those two sets alone. Have you priced out Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Clemente, etc, 8's and 9's lately from those sets?
Of course I'm not saying the 62 and 63 sets were "definitely" 8's and 9's...but you don't know that either, and even if those sets weren't 8's and 9's, Rosen still made a killing.

I was only "disgusted" at the fact that the old guy could have done a lot better. Rosen didn't break any ethical guidelines that I observed.
Rosen in my opinion is a weasel and I would expect him to act like a weasel and he did just that. He is what he is and anyone can either deal with him or not...obviously he's been quite successful for a long time, so from his business profit standpoint he's certainly doing something right.

bought with the intention of doing a quick flip, that is he too will sell this collection in lots, probably to 10
people (just speculation) could be more could be less. I do know that Rosen is not into retailing stuff like that out.

IMO opinion the old guy did pretty good, the only sets that Rosen really liked were the early footballs.
