Ok all you vammers,

Been all over the 21 D attribution pages and die crack guide and have yet to locate this reverse. Any guesses?

    Disclaimer: I'm far from "expert".

My thought it that it has to be a break to be identifiable, so its either a VNA or a really early die state of something else.
MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.
  • Thanks Clarkbar. Understand it's probably an EDS, but there is not even a crack/break shown going in this direction. That's what has me befuddled.

It would probably help to see the rest of the coin. As the previous poster stated, as it is, there is no VAM designation for a Morgan or Peace with simple cracks. There must be breaks with distinct displaced metal in order to qualify. I do not see that with the two small areas you posted.
  • Thanks. Dont have any full images taken. This is probably the most next significant crack.
