Got this one in Portland.
Lets see how good the graders and varity types are. Oh and the good people from Sheridians table hold off for awhile.

Why, because this is the variety I would like to get when getting an 1820 (your example is PERFECT for what I'm looking for!)
Edited to add: I want this to be a 55 so bad, no way is it a 58, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it in a 53 due to color unless there's a lot more luster than shows.
I'll be back with the rest of the info later.
thanks for the variety breakdown with pics, that is VERY cool
This coin has a bunch of luster that I could not capture today in the images. And from the guesses I think I am right that PCGS under graded it by a bunch. And that lead to a very attractive price. As mentioned there were a lot of these (CBH) at the show and many were in the genuine holders and priced a little high in my opinion. There were some really nice higher graded and rarer coins that were out of my budget at this time. But I was really glad to get a chance to see them, and in many cases hold them. I found all of the dealers to be very friendly. May have been because I was there Friday and they were fresh and not jaded yet. About the only thing I found disappointing was the lack of Seated Liberty circulated and graded half dollars at the show.
I really like your variety marker illustration. Too bad everybody doesn't use something like it, especially
the folks that write books.
