I will be at the ANA table and out and about. I hope to see you all. I'll have my name tag on and a few badges...

On the selling side I have no idea. On the buying side at the last one all you had to do is walk in. I believe there was some auction lot viewing last time also.

Which day Ben? Looks like bright and early Friday for me after a 3 hour and 10 minute drive.

The pre-show at the Portland Airport Holiday Inn general admission at 10 AM Tuesday and/or Wednesday is $5. Seniors might save a buck. Anyone can go without an invitation.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.
Will be in Portland next week so hope to stop by if my schedule allows. Is there anyway as a collector to get into the show before Friday as my departing flight is on Friday.

You can purchase an early bird badge for Thursday afternoon, I think.
PNG member, numismatic dealer since 1965. Operates a retail store, also has exhibited at over 1000 shows. I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

I think you can purchase an Early Bird Dealer's badge for Thursday afternoon. Dealer setup starts at 3 PM. Adding a dealer table assistant this week costs $100, since it counts as a late register. For a dealer to share a table costs $150. My guess is the Early Bird badge costs at least $100.

It looks like what's on schedule for coin shows this week is either this show by the ANA or the other one with 22 dealers (two I've actually heard of) taking place somewhere in the sticks of southern Illinois that is being promoted by a closed-minded individual (who keeps on bumping his own threads relentlessly) with unrealistic illusions of grandeur. As for which show to attend, I think the choice is obvious as far as dedicated numismatists are concerned.

Maybe a dumb question... I'm going to the show on Saturday and had a few coins in mind to submit to PCGS in person. I let my membership expire a few months back... can I still submit coins with them?

I actually spent today there. The weather was perfect and Haystack was stunning.

Do some dealers give a discount for nice haircuts?
This one might confuse a dealer into taking a zero or two off the price:
