I went to change the setting in my profile so that it can be viewed by others .... when I updated it my icon changed ... do I need to wait to icon upload day to put my custom one back on ?

    Your old icon probably still exists in the uploaded icons. If you remember the name of it, just select it from the available options (all the icons anyone has ever uploaded).
