What a rip off. It clearly states on the back that the card is only worth $20K.
Collector of 1976 Topps baseball for some stupid reason.
Collector of Pittsburgh Pirates cards for a slightly less stupid reason.

  • Hey - there may have been a Honus Wagner who played for Pittsburg -

but it is not the same team that is in Pittsburgh ...

Really does sum up Arkansas's educational systemimage
  • You have to check her pics from her diamond ring she is selling. I see playing cards, an old SMR, a skittle or two, a yoyo, some Doritos, a Christmas tablecloth, some homemade cookies in a ziploc bag and I swear I see a condom on the table.
  • I love the idea of a card with it's value printed on the reverse
    Really helps the newbie collector

that is funny and kinda sad... cuz you know she was like oh my god I am rich!!!

I had to look again.. I was so hoping there was a condom...haha

I have seen that card on several times. That is funny...
  • There was one that was a thread topic a while back that the seller claimed the card was worth $20000 in 1911 and imagine it's value now. He also said if the final price went over a million dollars, he would hand deliver it after payment was received.

I sent this to her email "lol, is this a joke? You do realize that the card you have is worth about $1 right?"

and this was her reply "Thanks for the input, but this card is worth over $250,000.00 right now, because it is a history card made in the 1980's about the orignial card...And its worth more to me than a $1.oo"

her name is Betty and she is from Arkansas. Gotta believe she is doing well there.

Also, notice in her reply she used lowercase O's instead of zeroes in $1.00 image

What does it signify , when a person has a ring on their thumb ? Lets not be stupid and say "nothing".

    Just wondering------Sonny

  • Ring on the thumb means she has been eating too many doritos ...I sent her a message too...except I didn't want to make her feel to bad on the value so I said it was worth under -$20...

No, and to be honest I never even thought that.

What are you even talking about? I thought we were remarking about this Arkansas ladies card? By the way, I posted first in this thread, so it looks like you show up after I post.

  • i couldn't help myself. wrote her an email with same message. here is the response trail

    Dear la_cards,

Her: No, I don't .. This is a history card from the 80's.. and it supposed to be worth over $250,000.00...Thanks

Me: no. its a five dollar card. i found this from a thread on a discussion board with people laughing, etc. the original card from 1911 is worth an impossible fortune. yours is worth nothing

her: I never said this was the orignial 1910 card....So go ahead an laugh....MY card is a history card from the early 1980's....and it is still worth a small fortune....But tank you for keeping on my toes.... I know this is not the orignail 1910 , but it is a orignail one from the 1980's...

to which i told her, basically, you're out of your mind, but good luck
