Didn't someone else also pull a Puckett/Clemens from the same pack during the last rip?

I pulled a 1985 Fleer Clemens and Puckett in the same pack durin the last 80's group run. Puckett was a PSA 9 although I of course thought he deserved a 10.

So 1985 Fleer I guess had a production order in packs?
    I never new that.

Fleer packs from 1981-1992 were sequenced as were Donruss. Someone finally decided to go to foil packs and they started sequencing them again. I don't know why.

Learn something new every day. I thought only Topps did that.
    Thanks!

Rookie? You've been here almost 6 years.

Scan the cards and send them to a Photobucket account. When you hit reply on here, click on the little picture frame icon. A new window will open. Copy and paste the IMG URL from Photobucket and insert it in new window.

I just love hearing my BBCE orders crashing down on my porch. I hate my UPS guy. I think I will wait outside tomorrow morning with my BB gun.

    Anyway, I love junk wax/racks:

No the Clemens and Pucketts were in seperate packs (I got 2 group of items).

Well at least mine came in a 1982 Topps Baseball Box..

I am lucky, as it has been so windy around here that my box actually moved halfway between my house and my neighbors... Thank god I look at the side of my house or I might have never got my box.

I'm out of town until Monday, and my BBCE box is sitting on my desk at work. Ugh.

I got absolutely nothing from my group rip packs. The most fun I had was with boxes of 91 Studio and 92 Pinnacle.

Mine showed up today (actually yesterday, but I had one of those orange slips that my package was at the post office). They are sitting in my car and can't wait to rip when I get home. I will post scans for everyone this evening.

Bill is that 89 Donruss case? I still have a retail case I have in the closet I have yet to completely open. Opend about 10 packs and though I should stop.

Edit to say or is it Leaf?

So I didn't rip and scan last night because I met up with some friends for drinks and worked most of today (I love tax season!). So I scanned tonight. I realize many of you put your lives on hold for this...Anyway here they are. I thought I did pretty good:

Never pulled a Smith or Mattingly RCs

Got my share of Stars like Bench, Jenkins, Jackson, etc. These were my favorites. Love Gwynn with his pant legs pulled up.

And of course who wants to go to the 1984 World Series with me?

Ripped mine this morning and basically struck out. Normal mix of HOFers, etc, but nothing worth sharing. Seems like every card I got of nominal interest was covered with wax or gum stains.

Oh well, I've had good luck lately so I can't complain. It was fun.

I did get a 1983 Donruss Gene Tenace. WHAMMY!

Just curious if anyone else had any odd findings in their packs. My two packs of 85 OPC were funky. One had no gum and the other pack had 2 pieces of gum that were different sizes. The one pack of 83 Topps I opened had 2 game inserts.

1 of my '82 Donruss packs was busted open a the bottom and the '84 O pee chee were not stuck. I did not get anything except 3 checklists in one pack out of the '82 Donruss but there was a pretty sharp '84 O Pee Chee Mattingly.

Nothing great in mine but I did save one pack of each. Makes my mini collection run from 1978 to 1985. Wow.
