What would this 26-S buffalo grade- Dansco reevaluation after seeing previous post by Russ..
Couldn't believe that the coin in this post got graded xf-45, so I had to take a look at the one in my Dansco that I'd always consider about a VG or maybe a shot at Fine? or so, here are some pictures:

Maybe it can get some of that weak strike mumbo jumbo too....

<< <i>As long as we are playing, I was wondering the same thing. This has a lot of luster and minus the residual PVC that will be gone today, what does this grade?
Tom - The mint mark is EXTREMELY questionable. Notice the flattened rim immediately below the mint mark on your coin which suggests it was ebossed by drilling a hole in the rim and using a special set of pliers. Look at the edge for signs as in the image below (courtesy of gyocomgd).

Your coin appears to be cleaned. Even if it hasn't, given the amount of wear VG is the proper grade with or without mumbo jumbo.
<< <i>Here's my disturbing rim shot.
Tom - I think your safe. Looks like a rim bruise and nothing more. The technical grade is VF-30, but I suspect it would slab XF-40 (or better).
