Off To TOREX in the AM

I always enjoy TOREX very much. It is a Canadian coin show held in Toronto three times each year. If you don't like greyside coins, don't go. If you want 200 tables, don't go. If you like 30 or 40 tables of dealers who really know greyside coins and have access to the best of them, then go. If you like great comraderie with dealers, top end collectors, and lower end collectors sharing a beer, coin talk, and show and tell, then go.

I've seen nearly every classic Canadian rarity in high grade passed around the bar at TOREX. It is just a really good time. I can think of no better reason to fly from Los Angeles to Toronto in February. Okay, my state is broke, I'll give you that one.

Won't be there. I don't like having to pay a large admission fee for EACH day of the show.

Alas, I won't be flying from OC to join you. I think I'd be like a kid on a candy shop were I to go some day.

    Happy hunting!
