Coin show newps (with pics)

Well, I'm happy to report that the monthly Syracuse coin show has a decent level of Dark matter represented 
Of course, it wasn't a terribly big show, maybe 20-25 tables. But it kept a pretty busy pace for most
of the time I was there. Lots of US material, though I was kinda looking for Hard Times tokens and
didn't find anything.
There were about 4-5 dealers with at least a good binder of Darkside stuff. It was fun to browse
through, especially since it's been so long since I've been to a show, but nothing that gave me that
lingering regret for not buying like I usually get at shows. The dealer who had the largest selection
of world stuff (almost his entire inventory) had some really nice items, but way too many were coated
in PVC slime - not "do you think this is PVC?" kinda stuff, but "good lord that coin is green!" stuff.
I brought stuff to sell or trade but I just wound up buying a bunch of cheapos instead.
Here's pics of some of the newps, some of which may soon end up on my sales list.
Two of my favorites are these German half and one marks, both 1915-A with wild toning. I'm not much of a toning nut but these are great!
This is one I never managed to find nice when I was on my Brazilian kick a while back. Now that I've sold half the collection I found one!
I can never pass up nice old Italian copper
Out of all the zinc junk produced during WWII, this is probably the easiest to find nice. This one was cheap
A nice iron notgeld piece from the city where I spent third grade.
And some other random stuff to fill holes:
Korea, 50 won 1959 - an upgrade
Thailand, 1 baht 1962-82
The dealer had nearly the whole set - I meant to buy it all, something else must've distracted me.
A cheap silver crown. Great look in hand!

So... it's not the sort of show I'd drive 5 hours to see, but I had fun. I'll probably be back next month.
For the semi-locals, the show is held at the Ramada in Liverpool - take the first exit off I-81 just south of I-90, hang a right and you'll see it on the right at the next light. It's held every third Sunday of the month, doors open at 10.

Nice Thai baht. Saw a lot of them when I lived in Thailand, but none that nice.

GoldenEye, those German pieces aren't the only nice ones from that era! I personally find it to be one of the better times as far as an abundance of great designs.. that's why one of my only focused sets is a 1914 type set
