Toned penny and farthing

Excuse my photographic skills...the coins were photographed on a white background, but I can't seem to get it to show up as anything but grey.

I grabed your photos and tried to crop and combine them. It would not come out perfectly as the oeiginal pic was taken on a slight angel and makes the coin slightly put of round.

Hope you don't mind that I messed with your photos.

I use a very simple and free editor for cropping coins. I think the round cropping tool is the most easy and simple I have found

Lovely toning.

Although I have Photoshop, generally I still find myself using Photoscape (free to use and download, just google) for circle cropping of coins.
It's quick and easy to use and you can select the colour for the background but most often I opt for black.
