I just like the look of this coin:

He looks kind of wild to me.

Obverse: Crowned bust facing, wearing consular robes and holding mappa and cross
Reverse: Large XXXX, ANNO above
Exergue: CON E (Constantinople mint office E)

Nice coin!

Flavius Phocas Augustus, Byzantine Emperor called the Tyrant, usurped the throne from the Emperor Maurice, and was himself overthrown by Heraclius after losing a civil war.

I love the whole Byzantine era.

I have two gold solidi coins in my gold collection. One from Phocus and one from Maurice. I would like to add more in time, but some can be quite pricey especially in higher grades.
