    OUCH!!!

And a lot of tears to go with it.
    When in doubt, don't.

So first, is it genuine? Second, how much would it be worth as a plugged coin?

Well, without the hole it's a 3K coin so discount 2K for it?

    (It's genuine.)

I have no doubt it's genuine, and sans the hole, it is a very nice VG coin. Hard to put a value on it, but $800 is probably not a bad price.

Genuine? From the sellers pics it's tough to tell but the obvious diagnostic is the "1" in the date centered over the denticle...which it is. The definitive diagnostic ..IMHO... is the die chip in "LIBERTY" which is difficult to tell on my POS monitor. The sellers pics could have helped out somewhat here but I guess you work with what you have.

As for this coin worth $800? Myabe someone elses' money, but not mine... L

How long ago did you buy this?

With the hole and all- it is still worth 800

picture this coin in a GENUINE PCGS holder- it will bring in 900-1100 on the flea.

might put a bid on it and do just that.....

Ahhhh... That's a good point! ...and will go al long way in determining if you do earn the "award".

If the reverse is in as good a condition as the obverse is, I think PCGS was a bit hard on this coin... this isn't my real area of expertise, but I've always used 2/3 hair detail against the face as my yardstick for VF. Reverse pics would be helpful...L

It was a few years back.
Summer 1995 was when I picked up the 93-S.
Don`t know if I`ll still earn the "You Suck" or not.
Eitherway, I`m still happy with my descision to buy it when it was offered to me.
Here is a not so great pic of the Rev.

Anyway, I do think that this coin is undergraded by at least one grade.

Not undergraded (due to the reverse) but the quintessential perfect Fine.

Probably not enough meat on the reverse to make VF and I can see why PCGS gave it an F12 but FWIW it is still an awesome coin... nice pickup!
