Just received an email from eBay for up to a $100 savings on a single item......now to find something good and certified in the $1200 range!

My best score was a $700 coupon from PayPal. Yes, $700.00. They started an experimental program to soothe the feelings of customers who filed a dispute, and rounded up the amount to the next $100. At the time, I had filed a SNAD gainst a seller for $650, which was later resolved in my favor. So I got $700 and wound up with a nice Double Eagle for $500.

Oh yes, I got one of those 8% coupons too. I'm off to check out something nice.

I think they are given to people that have used ebay, but not as frequently or recently...to get them to rekindle their e-bay shopping habits; or they are looking for a specific demographic that will help ignite more sales on the bay. My opinion only.

Here's my dumb question: how do you know when you get a coupon? Does eBay send it to your regular e-mail? Do you have log in to eBay and check My Messages? Or???

In the whole 9 months I've had PayPal, I've only received one coupon -- for 10% off... I wonder why they hate me so much especially when they make so much off me!

It comes to your email address of record at ebay, and will be in my messages also.

No coupon here, I must spend to much so I don't need the jumpstart. I think they only give them out to dormant accounts. I have 2 accounts and I received the Fall 10% coupon (first I've ever Received) in one account which I hadn't used at all for some months and the other account which I use all the time Has Never received any type of coupon.

i agree, 8%, does not help out much. But i will probably look for something
else besides coins where it does make a larger difference ;-)

I actually got one too. Doubt they're transferable to other users...it's a long, crazy code.

I guess now would be a good time to pick up an ounce of gold or so. First spouse coins generally
sell pretty low...hmmmm
