OT: Stupid Heritage Question

I've never bought from Heritage before and couldn't find this on their web site.

Once you've paid an auction invoice, do they email you when the items ship? Or does the merchandise just show up?

You can give them a call, and they'll be more than happy to tell you when your order shipped.

Edit: I don't think this is OT at all.

Ive bought from heritage plenty. They always send me an invoice when the coins have been shipped with a tracking number.
sometimes I even get the coins before the email!

Same here. And it always takes far too long because I don't stop to think about the huge volume they have to process with 100% accuracy.

I have not bought from them in a while (but did so this weekend). What I always remembered was a bill would show up in the mail around the same time the coin did.

I don't always get a shipping or tracking notice, but often do.

It just shows up in your home mailbox, unless you requested electronic delivery. In that case, you have to look in the cup holder drawer of your PC for your coin. PS: They can’t ship electronically to laptops that lack a cup holder.

    ...or so I'm told....

Ooohhhh.... what if I'm using a netbook which doesn't have a cup holder? Does that mean I can't take delivery of the merchandise and that I have to drive to Dallas to pick it up? Wouldn't flying there be more cost effective? I really think that Heritage is a bunch of scammers for not listing their cup-holder delivery requirements on their web site...
