New Website Review and a GIVEAWAY

Hello everyone,
As many of you already know, we unveiled a new website a few months ago and have been changing it constantly since then. We are at a point now where we want to make a few final changes to the site and then call it good for awhile. That's where you come into the picture. Please review the site (link below) and post your comments to this thread. We are looking for honest input: If there's something that you do not like, let us know. If there's something that you think we should add to the site, we want to hear your thoughts. I have a full time web designer here and we can make changes fairly quickly.
Those responding to this thread with their constructive criticism will receive a free gift. It could be a PCGS sample slab, which we will give to the first 10 or so respondents. That supply is limited, so we will give another free coin, token, or numismatic supply to subsequent posters, until we deplete our freebie box (and post as such). Thank you in advance for your participation. We look forward to your ideas and feedback (positive or negative).
Joel

60 years into this hobby and I'm still working on my Lincoln set!
Im gonna go back and look around some more
edit to add.yeah pics pf ALL items would improve it, I would never
buy a coin without a pic even if there is a return policy, im pretty
much a impulse buyer depending what kind of mood im in....Im
sure its alotta work tho
the category type size is a little small, I clicked on the wrong ones a
couple of times
In the certified coins descriptions, some titles are listed as (example): VF35, PCGS; and others as PCGS VF35. Not a big problem, again, a consistency thing.
Best Regards,
Nice site - easy to navigate.
I think the photos could use some work, however.
The currency looks washed out, and many of the coin shots appear to have severe white-balance issues. I've linked to a couple of examples below.
Overall, I like it, though - great job!

That said, bear in mind I'm no designer. All I know is my advertising teacher told me, "All emphasis is no emphasis."
It's good you've got the search, log-in, and create-an-account where they're easily accessible. It's frustrating looking for that sort of thing on many websites.
Good luck!
Congrads on your site.
I know that websites can be a lot of work!

I was about confused by the wording of your payment types. I now realize Paypal Express simply means ordinary Paypal. I would drop the express as it made me think it was different than normal Paypal.
By the way, I see you have a 44-S AU58 walker listed for $0.00. Nice price but that can't be right can it? If so, I want it.
I like your free shipping on orders over $50.
I noticed that Peace dollars are listed under Morgan dollars and called Morgan dollars in their description. It looks odd to see a "1923 Morgan Dollar". It's fine to list them together but title them Morgan/Peace dollars, and get the title right in the individual coin description.
All in all a nice site. Good luck and I hope you do well.
putting up until you can get a pic up too.
Otherwise, I like!

I like how there isn't a lot of unnecessary space on the pages. However, IMO, the "about us" image up on top feels a little large compared to your logo.
I like the layout of the home page and the sidebar -- very easy to navigate and find exactly what you want. I like that the front page's offerings had 3 coins to a row, and I think that it would look nicer if the rest of the categories would be consistent with that as opposed to 2 to a row. The pictures look very nice.
I like the cart and how you can see a picture of what you are buying.
All in all, I think that it's very well done!

Well laid out, plenty of pics.
I like it.

I agree, and the pictures open quicker than many sites.
I would offer the following advice to you in all sincerity:
1) I like the fact you make mention of a layaway plan, important I feel, but no mention on the opening page as to how you accept payment--Visa/MC, Paypal, Money Order, etc.
2) I assume(yuk!) that you have not gotten to putting the pictures in for your coins from nickel up and that if you are in process-no problem-If not, big problem-Pics a must.
3) On your opening page, I would consider that like the cash register area at a convenience store and try to attract as much attention to what you sell immediately-Place some of your most beautiful specimens that are at a fair price-regardless of the amount. This will allow your new clientele to see that you have quality items and not just common junk, like the Washington halves, Ellis Island type coins that one can pick up anywhere.
Just my opinion. I buy quite often from online dealers and I think you have made a great start, just keep it up and Good luck.

Layout is nice, and the site is pretty easy to navigate.
The categories are kind of wierd, though. Do Bald Eagles deserve their own category? Couldn't they be lumped in with commemoratives?

And what about a calendar?
Of course a links section is always worthwhile to help people search out the internet.
I can hardly think what else might be missing.
Very handy site!
