Multiple forum members who were able to get their order in within the first half hour on January 22nd have reported that their Item Status for UHR orders are now showing "In Stock and reserved" for the coin along with the Book expected to ship 02/06/2009.

Yesterday I was "in stock and reserved" with a 02/06 delivery date. This morning I received an email backing the delivery date to 02/20.

Doesn't apply to everyone....#30826XXX, order placed appx. 12:15...received an email today, expect to ship 2/21, though the site shows "In stock & reserved".

As always with popular issues, mint sure to create as much anxiety and confusion as possible.

Same here. However, mine also shows "Your order request is in process" and my Cancel Box is still available. I'm guessing that the cancel box is the key indicator.

I think so far only Miles reported his cancel box was gone, mine shows ins stock and reserved, ordered at 12:07, or at 7 minutes in, and mine both da book and coin from email today show:

Wow...I went from 1/28 (if I remember right) until one day after I ordered, then to 2/6 up until yesterday, then it went to 2/20 last night...now, it's back to 2/6!!

BUT, the book has been steady at 2/20....

I got my order in the first hour @ 12.55, checked it yesterday and it was the 6th, today got the email stating it would be the 20th. Now I am not a rocket scientist and only have a degree in physics but correct me if I am off base here...the Mint supposedly got ~40K orders in the first 4 days and per another thread has made so far about 20K+ of the coins. Since my order was in the first hour and they don't have the item yet to ship assuming they are shipping as they should be in chronological order that would mean that more than the entire production so far was ordered within the first hour. Hmmmm.....doesn't really add up to me. I think something is not correct with all of this.

If I messed up a 47 million dollar order at work I would be out of a job...why is this tolerated at the Mint? Especially for these collectibles? Does the Mint not care anything about its reputation? Sure it is run by the government but that is no excuse.

Just got an e-mail saying my shipping date was delayed from 2/6 to 2/21.

This after it was delayed from 1/30 to 2/6 a week ago. Oh well, guess I will get it eventually.
