Lincoln double die question

  I can only speak on the 1983 DDR's. They were found mostly in northwest Pennsylvania and in north Florida. I just happened to be living in north Florida (Gainesville) at the time and was fortunate enough to hear a local radio DJ mention to look for these. If my memory is correct I think he was a coin collector. I was able to find eight DDR's by looking through a bunch of cent rolls that I bought from the credit union where I was working. These rolls were not from Brinks, Loomis etc., but randomly from credit union members turning them in to either deposit or to exchange for currency.

  Thanks....any one else know of any area in which these doubled dies are nown to have been distributed?

  I've heard that the big DD 1972 Lincoln were found in $50 bags out of the Boulder Colorado Area. I believe it was Tebo Coins however I do not know where he obtained the bag(s) from.

  I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
