Next month's issue features 11 year old Dominican superstar Vladimir Martinez. He's 6' 3" weighs 211 pounds and throws 96 mph with a wicked slider. He's been shaving since he was 7 and his mother just passed away at the age of 81.

    Focus, people, focus!

I will leave it to Blackie to speak to as if this has been resolved to his satisfaction, but I did want to update the thread that at this point I have issued a full refund and offered to either:

    A. Pay shipping for him to return the card to me as is.

    B. Have the card reslabbed and, if it comes back as a PSA 4 (MC) or higher, he can resubmit payment (less the associated reholdering fees) at that time.

    C. Have the card reslabbed and, if it comes back as anything lower than PSA 4 (MC), I will pay the associated costs and to have it shipped back to me.

As others have previously stated based on the difference in scans, I too believe the damage happened in transit. Really a moot point to me as Blackie was not happy with it regardless and I offer option "A" as standard policy.

However, as he and I have done business together before, he is a upstanding board member here, and a United States Marine on top of that... I issued the refund before receiving the card back and offered up the other options as well.

Ok, back to... umm, whatever it was you scallywags were doing.

I'm glad you could take a few minutes away from switching out PSA 2s to do something productive.

    No,no,no.. This is all wrong.

STM said the holder is in the same condition now as it was presale. Therefore, snorto knew it was damaged and acted irresponsibly. Your explination is unacceptable and your scamming ways are over, buddy.

No attempt needed. It's not like snorto is a reputable poster or anything. Snorto's scans clearly showed the holder was already broken. Blaming USPS is nothing more than an attempted diversion and he's now trying to cover his tracks. Additionally, everyone knows swapping miscut PSA 4s, especially this extremely valuable and rare card, is the current flavor of the month.

I'm willing to wager that snorto risked what little respect he has here by either a) passing off a cracked slab, b) swapped cards, c) assisted the orginal scammer, or d) a combination of all the above. How anyone can attempt to dispute these obvious facts is beyond me.

Let this be a lesson for all of you amature scammers. Regardless of your so-called contributions here, on eBay, or even within the hobby; you will not get a benefit of the doubt. If an issue comes up, you're atomatically on par with a disruptive poster, troll, or known scammer. Period.
