We had what we thought were a lot of strong bids. But they weren't strong enough.

I won a few lots, none cheap. The 1823's sold very well.

I lost my Natfger bids and missed the Session 2 coin I was after as well.

Have there been any 100k Middle Dates prior to this auction? Two were over 1/4 million hammer!

What does Goldberg's do with coins that don't sell? Do they offer them for a reduced price like Heritage sometimes does or do they just send them back to the consignor?

As far as Naftzger was concerned there were none that didnt sell. But typically they go back to the consignor unless the consignor has given us instructions to sell at a reduced price.

    Photoguy:
You did a super job photographing the Naftzger and Wells coins. I wish all the auction houses put as much into their cataloging.

Thank you I appreciate the compliment.

There is a lot of time and effort the goes into doing auction catalogs. We try and do the best a possibly can on each one.
