Question about grading of new President/Sacagawea Dollars

I received a roll or the Sacagawea dollars today and as I looked through them I naturally started grading them as I looked at them. I am not collecting the new dollars, but with any coin, when I look at it I have a natural tendency to grade it. As I looked through the Sac's, I graded most of them as MS65-MS66, until I would look at the edge lettering and surfaces. I noticed the same on the new Presidential dollars. 99% of the edges I looked at were poorly printed and had dings. My question is how much affect does the edge of the coin affect the overall grade. I'm looking more for opinions from everyday collectors than TPG procedure. Any thoughts?

    ttt

    I've found the same thing.
Lots of rim nicks on otherwise lock 66s.

    All "D"s.

I think this is a new concern. As the third edge of the coin comes into play it was should I say "rather easier" to grade with only two sides of the coin. The edge of of the coin does have some issues with quality.Wheather that becomes an overall factor in grading remains to be seen.If the third side of the coin is severely beaten up I would imagine it would effect the grade somewhat. If it is fairly free of nicks and cuts I don't see any difficulty with the grade.

............someone, across the street, asked if these were in the new grading book by QDB . they asked if there was any mention of the edge lettering and they said no.image
