    Well, it's a counterfeit anyway.

Counterfeit? Really? Why do you say that?

    Yuck!

Interesting that it has a die clash on the reverse, though, as that was very common for authentic 3CNs.

The die clash took me by surprise, why bother?

The text on the obverse is all wrong. Compare it to a genuine one and it will be obvious to you too.

I sent the seller a message about it being fake and this was his reply......
"i took this on consignment for someone. it looks real to me. how can i
    tell?

    -capc123"

PS And this is a "power seller"?

If this person sold mostly Beanie Babies and vintage clothing, I could understand that. But they sell almost nothing but coins, so this is a lame-ass excuse.

Looks like one of those counterfeits coming out of China these days.

You never know, he may have hoped no one noticed it was a fake but since they did he didn't want to appear like he was intentionally trying to cheat someone.

Anybody that cant tell thats a fake , needs to spend more time in the education dept before diving in. Not being mean, but really, they need educated before they get swindeled by something else.

I agree, a person should definitely research and know a series before buying coins.
