There is no such thing as a Doily rattler. All Doily holders were of the old 2-piece variety, though some have the outer frame broken off - which seems to be what we have here.

The doily holdered coins are actually a rattler style inside of a slightly thicker conventional slab.

Nice holder. What would really be neat if the coin was a DDO but not designated (look at the 62 in the date).

There is nothing wrong with buying a holder like that it was only made for six months and quite rare.....with a nice coin,,,,
