The Cherrypickers Guide 4th ed., Vol. 2 has a good picture of one. AMERICA is doubled to the left (the partial 1st image is to the left of the full 2nd image). A really tough variety, and I would like to own one of these and several other clad quarter varieties.

O.k. I have ascertained with certainty that I have a 1971d DDR- The variety of which is unknown to me- Who/what grading service should this coin be sent to for designation and is it worth it?
The coin that I have has doubling that is very similas to this one: (except the one pictured is not a D)
The picture in the website are of a 1971 DDR quarter, not a 1971-D. The 1971-D has very similar doubling but in the opposite direction. Hope this helps. If you can scan it and post a picture, I or one of the variety experts can usually tell whether it is the real McCoy or worthless strike doubling. You would want to know that before sending it to a grading service.

So, who do I send it to and is there someone here that I can send it to first for review to see if it is worth submitting and is indeed this rare DDR?
please advise...
John
