Cool find at the bank today
The manager at my bank orders me $2000.00 in halves every week and I pick them upon Fridays. I went in today to get them and he said someone just dropped off $100 in halves and showed me them. They were unopened mint rolls (w/ the us mint roll paper) 2001 p&d, 2002p&d, (2) 2003p&d, and 2004p&d. I took them from him along with my 4 boxes. Do people pay any premium for these??? I'm just going to put them away for now. Must have been someone that ordered them every year and is being hit by the economy.

<< <i>$2000 in rolled halves every week!? Where do they all go after you look at them?
Another bank that has a free coin counter
Steve
Usually a 2 roll set is around 36 bucks plus shipping.

They don't mind, they just roll 'em and send them back to bank #1 where they have a guy who picks up rolls of them every week.

The other bank rolls them, sends them back to the Fed, who then sends em to your other bank that orders them for you.
If you aren't finding silver, then you are not seeing fresh coins, just the same crap over and over.
I find silver almost every time, but these are fresh coins turned in by customers. Today we had a measly
24 halves in the vault, I bought them all. Found 4 40%.
